Did anyone see the nightmare that was the VGA award show last night?
What a pile of crap...
They didn't even focus on games, and they gave the game of the year award as the first part of the show, before Mr.David "I don't care if we show any more video games for the rest of the night(after seeing the women)" Spade.
All there was were boobs...yippie.
It should have been the Girls in Little to No Clothing with a few games here and there.
And anyone that gives The Matrix game an award doesn't play video games, and also needs to be shot.
Grrrr...

i figured it would be stupid, so i didnt even bother watching. enter the matrix was a good game though, getting shot for giving it an award would have to depend on which award it was given, in my opinion. im guessing since your so mad it was "best game of the year," it which case that would be pretty retarded

enter the matrix was a good game Not really. Shiny spent all the money on motion capture and probably only spent about 6 hours on actual game developement. I've never seen a choppier, looser combat system. Another exmaple of Americans ruining video games, just like this Spike TV crap. Ok, I'm done ranting now. I just wish that Americans would stop making shitty games. The few good games that come from American developers don't even come clse to the amount of crap they also shovel out...

Frankly, I could care less about ANY form of awards show. Who cares what a bunch of media figures like? I'll play whatever games, watch whatever movies, and listen to whatever music I want. I don't have to validate my choices through whether or not the product won some award.

The Matrix didn't win game of the year,it won best game based off a movie.Madden 2004 won game of the year.
And The Matrix game was a steaming hunk of crap.Best quote from that game:"Press the acceleration button to accelerate".Genius.David Perry(or whatever his crappy name is),stop making games.

i only played it at zach's house some, and from that i based my opinion of it being good. but i think that category (best game made from movie) was created to just give an award to enter the matrix, what other games were in the category? the sinbad game?
*EDIT*the Return of the King should of won that category

It is a stupid category in the first place, but if anything LOTR should have won.
And I love how they had games that DIDN'T COME OUT THIS YEAR.Good work guys...

I personally just stick to all the random E3 "nominations" screw any video game awards, or for that matter, any award shows.

The Chaun didn't think that Enter the Matrix was all that bad. Half the reason jthat they had the game was to that it would fill out a little bit of the storyline. It was just too easy. It also could have been better with a co-op mode, but hey, that IS why Americans shouldn't make video games. LOTR all the way!
And Madden 2004? To hell with that. The only pixilated sports that the Chaun delights in are Blitzball and Quidditch.

No sir,you are wrong. What to know the whole reason? Money. If it was for a award or to be a good game they would have worked onthe game, not just make it fancy cut sceens.Pile of crap.
