i agree that doom and doom II had quality gaming at their time, but halo dominated, and now swat and ghost reacon rule all. i can't wait for halo 2 to come out and regain all its rightous power, i mean when halo came out with x-box there were NO kids in the streets playing, every child, teen, and young adult was playing halo.... HALO 2 will Rule over all  |

The best thing about halo is its replay value. I can play system link multiplayer for hours because so many different things can happen. I've seen things I hadn't before after a year of playing it. And the physics allow for some seriously funny stuff (like throwing nades on dead bodies and hitting them in the air with rockets)

the one and only problem i have with HALO 2 is the grenades. the frags don't have as big explosion as they did in the first one. but that can be easily overlooked just by watching that sweet 6 or 7 minute trailer on that OXM disk. holy shit its gonna be a big one

i have played a demo of halo 2 and i have to say it looks like the best game made for anygame i have played halo for xbox and halo for pc and i have to say the pc version is a whole lotta better than xbox  |

its is gonna be so sweet. lord eric is getting his basement redone. and once its ready, it will be halo2 heaven. no joke, the kid is gonna have like 17 internet connections, not to mention he'll probably get multiple x boxes.

i dont like halo for one reason....its not that i've played it before, because i havent. its because these people i can't stand sit there all day and talk about it all the time....obsess-much...it used to me off cause all i would ever hear is crap like "ooooh halo, tonight? 7:30? ok good.. ahhh your kicked out of the "clan" (what theshit is a clan anyways, like a little internet gang?, how stupid) or "shut up i dont care if something important is happening right now, we are talking about halo, don't you see" ....morons...and sorry if any of you do it, let me tell you its not a good ifdea though.

First off: halo is not the greatest game FPS game.... if u ask me it is sub-par, for PC standards anyway. I must admit Halo 2 does look like a VERY good game, but compared to Doom3- its a joke. and Half life 2 will blow just about every other FPS -halo 2 and doom3 includeed- out of the water HANDS DOWN. half life 2 will revolutionize the way future games will be made- if u have seen the e3 movie u know what im talking about. if not.... www.ign.com has it... just do a search for Half Life 2 BTW- greatest and most popular online multiplayer game since 1998 and going strong even today..... Counter-Strike hell yah! |

High expectations lead to disapointment, no matter how good the game will be. I'm not saying this game will be less than good, I'm saying that if you expect the best game ever you will always be disapointed. I learned that from the Wind Waker.
Anyways, I'm done with the mini-rant. I know this game will be good, simply because they will copy most of the first one. I hope they fix my gripes with the first game (although I don't think they will...) 1) Bots in multiplayer. Online gamers are still a minority. Developers should recognize that and include a multiplayer variant for everybody. 2) The single player levels need to be good. And some AI would also be nice. 3) More variety in weapons. Sure, the Needle gun was pretty creative, but how many shooters have a guns called "shotgun" or "sniper rifle"? 4) An original storyline. No cliches and rip-offs like they had in the first one.

I know this game will be good, simply because they will copy most of the first one. Amen,that is why I think Vice City was good.If they would have tryed a new thing,I doubt it would have been as good.As they say,if it ain't broke,don't fix it. I just hope they add more to Halo 2 and they did in Vice City,and I am sure it will be pushed it again.You all watch. |

its not possible, they can not fudge it up with the footage we have already seen. the only way they can is if they start from scratch. Well, they are starting from scratch. Whole new game engine and everything. Halo 2 will be cool. Halo was awesome, but being involved in large scale combats will be sweet. I happen to like the XBox version of halo better than the PC version. But then I like console shooters better than PC shooters (seems like I'm the only one). Plus you don't have coop on pc. Anyways, Halo is going to be awesome, and knowing Bungie they won't let us down. They'll possibly give us more than we expect (and people are expecting alot). |
