Don't mine Gen, he's only Miller. He appears to like the games that have no point, but have violence as its only purpose for being.
BTW, Zelda, Pokemon = Boring? The Zelda games are for intellectual, thinking types. You need to stay on your toes in some to keep things working. Finding out individual strategies for each boss weren't that hard even, as ever temple is based of two things: an element and an item. The element designated the boss's characteristics, while the item usually played an important role in beating him.
The Pokemon GAMES were fine, but that damned Ash needs to be shot, along with his "cuddly" Pikachu. The games (red/blue) actually presented a challenge first time around. After that, they all went to hell. But the Japanese version was the best: After collecting all the little devils, going to this one guy in a city building got you the secret one, mew.

I can't believe I haven't posted here yet...
I'll narrow it down to five...
Super Metroid (SNES), Ocarina of Time (N64 or GC), Metroid Prime (GC), Oracle of Ages (GBC), and Wild Arms 3 (PS2).

for me armored core was a drag because you spent all that time customizing and customizing and then customizing some more, then a little bit after that. then when your ready to right, you custimize yourself a new brain cause your old one exploded after you finally got it all down the way you liked then it said woops too heavy. so we have some more customizing then when you FINALLY get it all down good. you fight for like five minutes. i could have beaten onimusha in that amount of time. which is another good game but commonly overlooked because of its short length.

i wasn't too fond of ocarina of time. it totally made the weird camera angle thing happen, on occasion. and i wasn't too sure of the plot.
