swearing. everyone does it. dont lie. you do. what do you think about it?
personally, i try to stay away from it if i can, but sometimes i think swearing can be the best way to show feeling through speech.

its a habbit that everyone has, unless u grew up in a cave in montana. its hard to get over it if you have to but i think that most people jsut accept it as a common thing in life, which shouldn't be.
the only thing i really object to is taking the lord's name in vain.

I used to curse a lot because I thought it was cool. Now I realized how stupid I sounded and only curse when I'm really angry. I couldn't break the habit all the way, especially when everybody does it like it's nothing.

...honestly, I am a freaking sailor. its how i was raised i cant really help it, and when i use them i don't even realize. i am a hopeless case, personally i see nothing at all wrong with it unless its really offending the person you say it to...in that case, just shut up.

its really annoying, because when i hear it, it doesnt make sense, and it could so easily be replaced with a better word

But it doesn't have the same effect. Saying fudge instead of fuck doesn't feel the same and you can't yell it without feeling stupid (at least I can't). Just don't curse up a storm. What gets me is when people online use mother f***** instead of the real thing. Stop dancing around the word and being an overall pansy and say it the right way, it's not like people don't know what you're talking about. Sorry, I'm in one of my "ranting moods."

i read a cool article about the f-bomb. it was something like, why should we sensor it, everyone knows what it is, it isnt protecting us when we see f**k. now what could that possibly mean?

damn straight, last two posts. nothin' like gettin' all that negative energy out. makes you feel better, truthfully. ha! I am reminded of when my friends and I tried to create the longest line of cursing w/o using the same words twice. that twas harder than it sounds.

not really, was it a conversation, or was it just a stream of swears, because it seems to me that it wouldnt last long.
